Take out the solid lid that comes with the infuser.
Put on the screen mesh (included with the infuser) onto the top of the jar, making sure it sits securely.
Screw the lid back onto the jar, ensuring that it's tight and secure.
Fill a five-gallon bucket with water and submerge the jar in the water.
Let the compost steep for 24-48 hours, stirring occasionally to ensure that the nutrients are evenly distributed.
Once the compost has steeped for the desired amount of time, remove the infuser from the bucket and use the remaining compost in your garden or on a house plant.
Use the nutrient-rich compost tea to water your plants, either by pouring it directly onto the soil or using a watering can.
